Buddy Moore

!!! Congratulations !!!

 

     Buddy has been coming down to compete in the Smoke On The Water Cook-Off every year since 2005. Originally from North Carolina, Buddy has been living in Floral Park, NY for over 20 years. Buddy faced stiff competition against a lot of great cooks including three former NC State Champions. With the aid of his fateful cooking assistants Charles and Wayne, Buddy came away with the #1 Spot. Greg loaned his competition cooker to Buddy for this event, so Buddy would not have to drive his custom cooker all the way from NY.

 Buddy is a great guy and personal friend of everyone at BQ Grills, we were so overjoyed to see Buddy win his first cook-off and sadden at the same time with the passing of his father the same day. Our condolences go out to Buddy and his family for the loss of their Father of 86 years. After the Cook-off  Buddy returned to see his father in Plymouth, NC to show him his Trophy, a few hours later Mr. Mahlon Moore passed away.
